About the Course
Our Fourth through eighth grade class will study, compare and contrast musical theater history and productions with biblical principles and stories. A play is chosen, and students learn how to dissect character development.
Ashley’s diverse background prompted her passion for community, diversity, and mental health. Ashley Pippin is the Founder and Executive Director of Genesis Theatre. As a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in theater education, nonprofit, and ministry, Ashley is a strong believer of transparency and authenticity in the workplace. Ashley regularly develops mental wellness and theater curricula to assist art professionals with effective mental health techniques. Ashley is an advocate for the arts, human trafficking, and mental health community. Ashley is available for private consultations and coaching.
Ashley is finishing a master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Capella University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University, specializing in Religion & Counseling. Ashley enjoys eating & cooking, a good puzzle and music.
